For more than seventy years, Campo Alegre was the Caribbean's most famous adult resort — an exotic, erotic and utterly unique corner of Curaçao. Home to more than 120 women from around the world, "Campo" offered first-class companionship in a setting that was legal, relaxed and safe, where the girls were tested weekly and the prices were famously friendly.
Founded by the local government in 1949 on Seru Fortuna, just minutes from the airport, it grew into one of the island's best-known landmarks — open to gentlemen 24/7, and to ladies on Tuesday nights only. Today the gates are closed, but the legend lives on here.
