Driving in from Willemstad you'd catch that huge leaf-shaped green neon glow long before you reached it. For a lot of us it was the unofficial landmark of that side of the island. Anybody else remember the exact spot it sat?

First time I saw it I nearly missed my turn. You really couldn't forget it once you'd seen it against the dark sky.
Locals used to give directions by it — "turn right after the green sign." Funny how a bit of neon becomes part of a place's memory.
